Officials of "Shamkir", representing Azerbaijan's II League, have been disqualified for 4 matches for insulting referees. Sport24.az reported that the AFFA Disciplinary Committee made the decision.
Taleh Aliyev, the manager of "Shamkir", and another official, Elchin Gurbanov, were penalized with 4 matches for insulting referees after the end of the XIII round's match with "Guba". In addition, the club was fined 1000 manats for the actions of both individuals.
Also, "Shamkir" was fined 70 manats for 5 of its players receiving yellow cards, and 600 manats because offensive expressions were voiced by their fans towards the referees, and this was repeated for the 2nd time this season.
Farid Islamzadeh, a football player of the regional club, was penalized with 1 match for receiving a red card after his second yellow card. The regional club was fined 50 manats for his action.
