"Shamakhi" has scored its 400th away goal in the top division of the Azerbaijan championships. Sport24.az reports with reference to the press service of the Professional Football League that the author of the jubilee goal was Edgar Adilkhanov.
He distinguished himself in the third round of the Misli Premier League match against "Sumgayit" (1:1). The club, which previously played under the names "Khazar University", "Inter" and "Keshla", scored its 400th goal on its 348th away match.
"Shamakhi" is the 3rd team in this indicator. Only "Qarabagh" and "Neftchi" have distinguished themselves more on rival fields.
It should be noted that the author of the first away goal in the club's history was Rovshan Suleymanov, who found the net of "ANS-Pivani" (1:4) on November 28, 1999.
