The "Shakhtar" management is not considering dismissing head coach Arda Turan, despite the team's unsuccessful performance in European competitions and their elimination from the Ukrainian Cup. Ukrainian journalist Igor Tsyganik said this in one of the podcasts he was a guest on, Sport24.az reports:
"Turan" continues to learn and gain experience at "Shakhtar." Is there time for this? According to my information, Akhmetov still trusts him. Despite the fact that the team is not performing very well in the continental tournament, they were eliminated from the national cup, losing to Kyiv "Dynamo". No one is planning to dismiss Turan".
It should be noted that the Donetsk representative is in the first place in the Ukrainian Premier League standings, four points ahead of Kyiv "Dynamo". The team is in 17th place in the Conference League with three points after two games.
