Idman.biz reports that this was stated by "Qarabağ" goalkeeper Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev in his statement to Telegraf, while talking about the interesting goal he scored during the training camp held in Austria.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team, who often comes to the fore with the goals he scores from a long distance in team trainings, spoke about this talent with a smile: "It happens sometimes. I test myself in training."
Mahammadaliyev reacted to the question "If you weren't a goalkeeper, could I have been a good striker from you?" by saying: "We will never know this (laughs - ed.)".
The experienced goalkeeper of the Aghdam club also spoke about the preparations in Austria: "We are preparing for the Champions League, everything is fine".
It should be noted that Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev, who has been playing for "Qarabağ" since 2016, spent only the 2023/2024 season at the Turkish club "Adana Demirspor".
