The goalkeeper of our national team, Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev, was penalized with a yellow card in the 45+1 minute of the match against Ukraine as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Sport24.az reports that this is the experienced goalkeeper's second yellow card in the current qualifying round.
Therefore, Shahruddin is suspended. He will not be able to play in the match against Iceland in Baku on November 13.
