Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev talked about the "Neftchi" game, his injury, and the "Newcastle" match

He spoke about the game against "Neftçi", which they will face in the XXI round of the Misli Premier League. The goalkeeper commented on the fact that the match with "Neftçi" was not postponed on the eve of the UEFA Champions League matches with "Newcastle" (England).

"Everything is going well, God willing, we will win the necessary result on the field in that match. Just like we have been able to do in recent years. It is true that difficulties may arise on the eve of the match with "Newcastle". But let's not forget that difficulties always force a person to work to the maximum. God willing, everything will be fine. The reason why we have come to these places today is the will of God. God has given us the strength to win. Therefore, it is not worth worrying about such small nuances," he said in an interview with "Report".

The 31-year-old goalkeeper said that his injury is slowly healing:

"My treatment continues as usual. I do certain exercises, but I still have a lot of work to do on myself. The time when I will return to the field will be determined after the doctors' opinion. We plan to start training in March".

Sh.Mahammadaliyev spoke about the match against "Newcastle" in the play-off of the Champions League on February 18:

"There is still time for this game. The mood in the team is high. But we have completely focused our attention on the games of the national championship and cup".
