Qarabag goalkeeper Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev, a graduate of Dagestan football, spoke about the support he received from Russia in the Champions League matches. Sport24.az reports that the goalkeeper made a statement to Vladimir Chetverik, a correspondent for the Championat.ru portal:
"I know that people in Russia are watching Qarabag in the Champions League and I feel the support. I have already received many congratulations, because I have many friends in Russia."
It should be noted that in the first round of the Champions League, Qarabag defeated Benfica 3:2. In the second round, the Aghdam team defeated Copenhagen 2:0.
