Qarabagh and Azerbaijan national team goalkeeper Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev spoke about the possible transfer of his former teammate Nani from Adana Demirspor to the Kazakh club Aktobe. Sport24.az reports that Mahammadaliyev, speaking to ASnews.kz, said the following about the Portuguese player:
"You can strengthen the team even without appearing on the field. Nani is undoubtedly a football legend. He is also a very important player in the locker room and in the training process. He always motivates the players and gives advice, especially to young players. Therefore, even if Luis is not in top form, he will help the team. He is an excellent professional who always takes care of himself and pays attention to his form. If Nani decides to move to Aktobe, he will definitely not just sit on the bench."
It should be reminded that Mahammadaliyev and Nani played together in the Turkish club in the 2023/2024 season.
