Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev, the goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team and "Qarabag", made a post on his social media account. Sport24.az reports that the goalkeeper responded to those who criticized him for not knowing the Azerbaijani language well.
He wrote the following on his personal Instagram account:
"Praise be to God that I live in Azerbaijan. I am happy to represent a victorious country. Although I don't know the language perfectly, my heart is always with Azerbaijan."
It should be noted that Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev gave an interview to journalists after the qualifying match for the DÇ-2026, which they lost 1:3 to France. He was injured in the first half of that match and could not continue the game. The goalkeeper will be out of the green fields for approximately 2-3 months.
