Azerbaijan national team goalkeeper Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev may leave "Qarabag" at the end of the season. According to Sport24.az's reliable source, the experienced goalkeeper has not yet been offered a new offer to extend his expiring contract.
If the club management's decision changes, a new contract with Shahruddin may only be possible with a salary reduction.
The national team member, who returned to "Qarabag" again in the summer of 2024, was the team's main goalkeeper during that period. He previously wore the uniform of the Aghdam representative in 2016-2023.
It should be noted that the goalkeeper, who was injured last December, is expected to recover and return to training in March.
