"I wish Joshgun and "Araz-Nakhchivan" success. He had offers from foreign and local clubs, and in the end he settled on "Araz-Nakhchivan." Shahin Diniyev said this in an interview with Sport24.az.
The experienced specialist spoke about his son Joshgun Diniyev's transfer to "Araz-Nakhchivan":
"The Nakhchivan representative is a team on the rise. Joshgun spent a month of training camp with "Çorum". In the last week, he has been doing individual training. Now he has to adapt to his new team, the coach's system. Since Joshgun is Azerbaijani in terms of mentality, he will not have difficulty adapting to his new team. Now I will support not only my son, but also "Araz-Nakhchivan." Therefore, the goals are obvious. The president of the club, Zaur Akhundov, is an ambitious person. He is someone who never accepts a low position. If there is such a president there, you can only think about high goals."
It should be noted that Diniyev, who also wore the uniform of the Azerbaijani national team, played for the Premier League clubs "Inter", "Qarabağ", "Sabah" and "Zirə" in different years. He spent one season each in the Turkish teams "Ümraniyespor" and "Bandırmaspor". The 30-year-old football player's last club was "Çorum".
