"Only good words can be said about "Qarabag's" game." Shahin Diniyev said in a statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced expert spoke about "Qarabag's" 3:2 away victory over "Benfica" in the first round of the Champions League League stage:
"To be short and specific, our representative surpassed "Benfica" in all elements. A deserved victory was won. Both in terms of the game and character, the Aghdam representative was very magnificent. They were able to show their best game in recent times. I repeat, "Qarabag" showed character. Self-confidence, the lack of fear of losing among experienced players helped us. It is clear that after this victory, all opponents in the Champions League will take "Qarabag" seriously, and our representative will be a headache for every opponent."
It should be noted that "Qarabag" will play its next game in the League stage on October 1 in Baku against the Danish representative "Copenhagen".
