"Not only the Azerbaijani football community, but also European football countries did not expect this result from "Qarabag"." These words were said by Shahin Diniyev in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced expert shared his thoughts on "Qarabag's" victory over the Danish team "Copenhagen" in the second round of the UEFA Champions League group stage:
"6 points in two games in the Champions League is a very magnificent start. "Qarabag" won this not by chance, but with their own game. Yesterday we watched two different halves. This was expected. There are no weak opponents in the Champions League. The first half was a match that took place entirely under the superiority of our representative. In the second half, "Qarabag" showed character and managed to defend as well as they attacked well with patience and composure. Yesterday, "Qarabag" won a deserved victory, not by chance. I wish our team success. I hope they continue to bring victories".
It should be noted that the "kholan horses", who defeated the Danish team "Copenhagen" (2:0) in the second round in Baku, defeated "Benfica" 3:2 in the first round in Portugal.
