Qarabag goalkeeper Shahhruddin Mahammadaliyev is dissatisfied with some matches of the Azerbaijan Premier League being held on artificial turf.
Idman.biz reports that the goalkeeper, who gave an interview to Futbolxeber.az after the match against Karvan in Shamakhi in the third round of the Azerbaijan Premier League, said that holding games in such fields is very dangerous.
He stated that the conditions are the same for everyone, but something needs to be done about these fields: "If we want to develop football, we need to move to another level. You can't play football on such fields. Everyone suffers from it. I don't understand how you can play on artificial turf in the 21st century? It is incomprehensible to me. I have never played on such a field even in the academy as a child. I repeat, the conditions are new for everyone. But it is very dangerous for football players. First of all, it is difficult for the teams that play their home games at this stadium."
It should be noted that in the first 3 rounds, along with Shamakhi, Karvan and Imishli also held their home games at Shamakhi stadium.
