A meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee was held. Sport24.az reports that the following decisions were made at the meeting regarding the matches of the XVII round of the I League:
On March 5, 2026, in the XVII round of the I League, in the "Baku Sporting" - "Mingachevir" match, the "Mingachevir" team was fined 210 manats because 4 players of the "Mingachevir" team received yellow cards (article 43.1);
On March 5, 2026, during the break of the XVII round of the I League, "Baku Sporting" - "Mingachevir" match, the "Mingachevir" team was fined 900 manats for the use of pyrotechnics by the fans of the "Mingachevir" team (article 86.3);
On March 5, 2026, in the XVII round of the I League, in the "Shafa" - "Shahdag Gusar" match, the "Shafa" team was fined 210 manats because 5 players of the "Shafa" team received yellow cards (article 43.1);
On March 5, 2026, in the XVII round of the I League, in the "Shafa" - "Shahdag Gusar" match, the "Shahdag Gusar" team was fined 210 manats because 4 people in the "Shahdag Gusar" team received yellow cards (article 43.1);
On March 5, 2026, in the 45+2 minute of the XVII round of the I League, in the "Shafa" - "Shahdag Gusar" match, the doctor of the "Shahdag Gusar" team, Mushfig Hummatli, was suspended for 4 games for insulting and threatening the referee and receiving a direct red card, and the "Shahdag Gusar" team was fined 3000 manats (article 52.4);
On March 5, 2026, in the 90+4 minute of the XVII round of the I League, in the "Shafa" - "Shahdag Gusar" match, the coach of the "Shahdag Gusar" team, Babek Allahverdiyev, was suspended for 4 games for insulting the referee and receiving a direct red card, and the "Shahdag Gusar" team was fined 3000 manats (article 52.4);
On March 5, 2026, after the end of the XVII round of the I League, "Shafa" - "Shahdag Gusar" match, the executive director of the "Shahdag Gusar" team, Mirza Bayrampula, was fined 300 manats because he entered Zone 1 without an "A pass" accreditation (article 86.12);
On March 6, 2026, in the XVII round of the I League, in the "Jabrayil" - "Sabail" match, the "Jabrayil" team was fined 210 manats because 6 people in the "Jabrayil" team received yellow cards (article 43.1).
