"Shafa", the main candidate to be promoted to the Azerbaijan Premier League, has made its decision regarding Elgiz Karamli.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to futbolinfo.az that the capital's representative will continue cooperation with the specialist if they are promoted to the elite as the champion of the First League.
The head coach himself announced this in his statement. E. Karamli stated that the allegations that the roads would part at the end of the season do not reflect the truth:
"If we get promoted to the Premier League, my contract will be automatically extended. This was our agreement when I came to the team when the club was still in the second league. The club management also tells me not to pay attention to these reports when such news comes out in the media. We have an agreement and our goal is to continue together. Especially the club president Kenan (Kenan Sadygly - ed.) always emphasizes this."
It should be noted that according to the rumors, "Shafa" may appoint Aftandil Hajiyev as head coach after being promoted to the Premier League.
