"Shafa" will be the dominant side in today's match against "Sabail" in the XIV round of the I League.
This was stated by "Shafa"'s head coach Elgiz Karamli in an interview with "Report".
He shared his expectations regarding the preparation process and the opponent:
"We prepared for the game as seriously as for other matches. Our goal is to win and increase the point difference. I evaluate the chances as 60 to 40 in our favor. Since the opponent knows that if they lose, they will be out of the championship race, they will prefer to defend more. I think we will be the dominant side. Opponents defend very tightly and give few gaps in the game with us, which makes our job difficult."
E. Karamli also touched upon the losses in the team:
"Urfan Ismayilov has not recovered since the match with "Zaqatala", he had a crack in his leg. Vugar Hasanov was injured during the training process. Whether he will play is questionable. But his name will be in the protocol. Although it is difficult, our goal in every match with every opponent is to win."
It should be noted that "Shafa" currently leads the tournament table with 31 points. "Sabail", with 25 points, is in third place.
