I am very happy that we won the game against "Difai" and scored 2 goals. We did not expect the match to be so easy." These words were said by Parviz Azadov, a football player of "Shafa", a representative of the First League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 25-year-old midfielder shared his thoughts on the game in which his team defeated "Difai" in the 16th round:
"Even though we played away, we controlled the ball and the game. We couldn't win for 3 matches. Thank God, we returned from a difficult away game with maximum results. We knew that all games would be very difficult for us. The mood in the team is high. We want to get the maximum result from the meeting with "Shahdag Gusar", which we will face in the next round. We prepare and go to the games with the same intentions not only against "Sabail", but against all clubs. Our goal is only to win 3 points. Nothing is clear yet. There is a long marathon ahead. Every team tries to show themselves in a good light against us. I think the end of the championship will be more tense."
