Sevda Nuriyeva to officiate in UEFA Champions League
International assistant referee Sevda Nuriyeva has received another appointment from UEFA. Sport24.az reports that she will serve as an assistant referee in two matches of Group 1 in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League. S.Nuriyeva will first assist Maltese referee Joanna Vassallo in the semi-final match between "Flora" (Estonia) and "Riga" (Latvia) on July 30. On August 2, the decisive matches of the group will take place. Sevda Nuriyeva will be part of the team led by Slovenian referee Tjaša Misja in the match for 3rd place, which will be organized between the losing teams of the semi-final stage. It should be noted that all matches of Group 1 will be held at the "Achilles Hammerel" stadium in Luxembourg.
