The management of the Turkish club Serik Belediyespor has decided to end its partnership with head coach Sergey Yuran. Sport24.az reports that journalist Nazim Turknas shared a post about this on his Facebook page.
Some time ago, the Russian coach announced at a press conference his intention to voluntarily leave the team. He stated that the players and coaching staff had not received salaries for a long time and that it was impossible to maintain discipline under these conditions.
Local media also reported that Serikspor players refused to train in protest of an eight-week delay in payments.
It should be noted that Yuran took over the "helm" of the Turkish club in July 2025. Under his leadership, the team scored 13 points in 11 matches and is in 13th place in the standings.
