Idman.Biz reports that "Sassuolo" decided the fate of the match at the end of the first half. In the 42nd minute, Kristian Volpato converted M'bala Nzola's pass into a goal, opening the score. Just two minutes later, Nzola himself scored, increasing his team's advantage. Although the guests reduced the difference with a goal from Nikolas Pas before the break, they could not equalize in the second half.
After this victory, "Sassuolo", reaching 45 points, rose to ninth place in the standings. "Como", with 58 points, remains in fifth place.
