Saudi Arabian representative Al-Ittihad has agreed with a new head coach. Sport24.az reports, citing insider Fabrizio Romano, that Portuguese Sergio Conceicao has become the team's new coach. His contract is scheduled to last until the summer of 2027.
According to the source, Joao Costa, Siramane Dembele, Fabio Moura, Diamantino Figueiredo, Vedran Runje and analyst Eduardo Oliveira will be in the coaching staff of the 50-year-old Portuguese.
Conceicao was without a club after leaving Milan in June 2025. During his coaching career, he has been "at the helm" of clubs such as Porto, Nantes, and Braga.
It should be noted that Al-Ittihad announced the termination of the contract with Frenchman Laurent Blanc on September 28. Blanc had been in charge of Al-Ittihad since July 2024.
