Busquets expressed his gratitude to the football community in his post: "Thank you to football and everyone. You will always remain a part of this beautiful story."
It should be noted that the Spanish footballer began his professional career in 2008 at Barcelona and wore the jersey of the Catalan club until the summer of 2023. After a 15-season career, he moved to the US club Inter Miami.
Busquets also made a great mark on the Spanish national team. He played 143 games for the national team, scored 2 goals and made 9 assists.
