"Turan Tovuz" goalkeeper Sergey Samokun's clean sheet streak in the Misli Premier League has been broken.
According to "Report", citing the official website of the Professional Football League, the Russian goalkeeper conceded his first goal of the season in the match against "Kapaz" in the 24th round (1:1).
Rahman Hajiyev broke Samokun's streak in the 55th minute. Before that, the goalkeeper, who kept a clean sheet twice in the previous championship and 6 times this season, last conceded a goal in the XXXIV round of the 2024/2025 season. He was unable to save Dembo Darbo's shot in the 32nd minute of the home match against "Neftchi" on May 10, 2025 (1:2).
Before Hajiyev's goal, Sergey had gone 812 minutes without conceding. He became the 9th goalkeeper in the history of the top division of the Azerbaijani championships to achieve a streak of 800 minutes or more.
