"Turan Tovuz" goalkeeper Sergey Samok has achieved a unique success in the Azerbaijan Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that the Professional Football League (PFL) has released information about this.
The Russian goalkeeper has managed to keep a clean sheet in the last eight matches he has appeared in the championship.
Samok's successful streak covers the current season and the final rounds of the previous championship. The experienced goalkeeper, who did not give the opponent's forwards a chance in the last round match against "Neftchi" (1:0), finished all six matches he played this season without conceding a goal.
In total, Samok has not conceded a goal for 778 minutes. The last time he conceded a goal was in the match against "Neftchi" (1:2) in May 2025.
After the goal scored by Dembo Darbo in the 32nd minute of that match, the goalkeeper "locked" his goal.
