Ukraine national team head coach Serhiy Rebrov commented on the result of the match against Azerbaijan in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.biz reports that the match in Baku ended in a draw - 1:1.
"I said from the beginning that there are no weak opponents. In addition, the condition of the field was not at the desired level. We couldn't show a good game and therefore lost points. The Azerbaijani national team relied on counter-attacks," Rebrov said at a press conference.
Following the result of this match, both teams earned their first points in the qualifiers.
