The Ukrainian national team will try to show its strength from the first minutes of the match against the Azerbaijani team.
"Report" reports that the head coach of the team, Serhiy Rebrov, said this at a press conference.
The specialist shared his thoughts on the match that will take place in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup:
"I hope that we will show our strength from the first minute tomorrow. We need these points more than the opponent."
He also touched upon the match they drew (1:1) in Baku:
"It was a completely different match. The field seriously hindered us. In addition, it was the first match for many players in the national team. Maybe that's why there was excitement. But now the situation is different. I am sure that the players will perform more confidently."
It should be noted that the Ukraine-Azerbaijan match, which will be held on October 13 in Krakow, Poland, will start at 22:45 Baku time.
