Bayern Munich and German national team midfielder Serge Gnabry may miss the World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the official website of the Munich club announced yesterday that the 30-year-old footballer will not be able to play for a long time due to a muscle tear in his right thigh.
According to Sky Deutschland, Gnabry is expected to be out for approximately three to four months. Therefore, there is a possibility that the footballer will miss the World Cup, which will be held from June 11 to July 19.
It should be noted that Gnabry has played 37 games in all competitions this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists. Germany is in Group E at the 2026 World Cup with Curacao, Ivory Coast and Ecuador.
