Sensations in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers: Brazil lost, Argentina defeated without Messi

The next matches of the South American zone of the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup have been held.

The Bolivian national team defeated Brazil 1:0.

Idman.biz reports that the only goal of the match was scored by Bolivian national team midfielder Miguel Terceros from a penalty in the 45+4th minute.

In the 80th minute, Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães, and in the 85th minute, defender Fabrício Bruno were penalized with yellow cards.

Brazil, with a total of 28 points, finished the qualifying round in 5th place and qualified directly for the World Cup. Bolivia, with 20 points and 7th place, got the chance to play in the intercontinental play-off stage.
