İdman.Biz reports that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that it has upheld Morocco's appeal and awarded Senegal a 3-0 defeat for leaving the field after a penalty was awarded for a foul on Brahim Diaz in the 98th minute.
The match resumed 13 minutes later and ended with Senegal winning 1-0.
The relevant decision was made by the CAF Appeals Board. The Board was guided by Article 84 of the CAF Regulations.
