Senegalese footballer Cheikh Toure, who was kidnapped by a criminal group in Ghana, has been found dead.
"Report", citing "De Telegraaf", reports that the 18-year-old player was a victim of fraud and blackmail.
The criminals promised him a trial in a professional club. It is assumed that the kidnapped footballer's family was asked for a large sum of money for his release.
Ghanaian authorities have now launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.
