The Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 match between Senegal and Sudan has concluded.
The teams played at the "Stade Ibn Batouta" stadium in Tangier, Morocco. Senegal won with a score of 3-1.
Sudanese midfielder Aamir Abdallah opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Senegalese Pap Gueye scored two goals in the first half. In the 77th minute, Senegalese Ibrahima Mbaye made the score 3:1.
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations is being held in Morocco. Twenty-four national teams divided into six groups participated in the competition. The tournament lasts until January 18. The current Africa Cup of Nations champion is Côte d'Ivoire, who defeated Nigeria 2:1 in the final of the 2023 tournament.
