The main goal of the seminars held within the framework of the "Tofiq Bahramov – 100: Fair Play Legacy" project is to commemorate the Azerbaijani referee and promote him further in the country.
Gulaga Jabbarov, chairman of the Public Association of Football Referees of Azerbaijan (AFHIB), told "Report" about this.
He said that ordinary people also participate in these events:
"The purpose of the seminars is to commemorate Tofiq Bahramov and promote him further in Azerbaijan. This seminar is not intended only for referees. We have organized this event for ordinary people and sports experts in the regions. In addition to the AFFA administrative building in Baku, seminars were also held in Lankaran, Guba, Shaki and Lerik. Three more seminars will be held in Baku, Sumgayit and Ganja."
G. Jabbarov stated that they put forward this initiative in connection with the 100th anniversary of Tofiq Bahramov:
"Our goal is to commemorate him. We provide a lot of information in the seminars. This is very interesting for people and young people. We have also prepared a booklet dedicated to the 100th anniversary of our legendary referee. We also present it at the seminars and give booklets to the participants in addition to certificates."
