The first qualifying round match of the UEFA Europa League, "Sabah" - "Sele" (Slovenia), which took place in Baku, did not start well for the opponent.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the football player of the Slovenian representative, Franko Kovačević, at a press conference before the game.
The striker, who managed to score twice against "Sabah"'s goal in the match in Baku, emphasized that he feels good in the team:
"The first match did not start as we wanted, but we recovered quickly and eventually won. In both goals I scored in Baku, the team did most of the work. I just made the final touch and sent the ball into the goal. I feel good in "Sele", the team welcomed me well. For success, we must have all the necessary information about the opponent. The coach is the person who prepares the match plan, and we should try to fulfill his instructions as well as possible."
It should be noted that the "Sele" - "Sabah" match will start tomorrow at 22:00 Baku time. The first meeting between the parties in Baku ended with a 3:2 victory for the Slovenian representative.
