Scottish referee shows red card to drunk fan in the stands

Scottish referee Josh Hay showed a red card to a fan in the stands during halftime of a lower division game.

According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the referee took an unusual approach because the fan was shouting and disrupting the game while drunk.

Fans on the internet are joking that VAR was needed to fully assess the incident.
