The "School Cup" tournament is being held in several more regions as part of the joint cooperation between AFFA and the State Agency for Preschool and General Education of the Ministry of Science and Education.
İdman.Biz reports that teams of 7th grade boys, 5th grade boys and girls are testing their strength in competitions in Gobustan, Guba, Oguz, Tartar, Barda, Yevlakh, Agjabadi, Imishli, Shaki, Gakh, Goychay, Ismayilli and Shamakhi.
After the internal championships are over, the champion teams in each of the three groups will represent the regions in regional competitions - Regional finals.
It should be noted that the main goal of organizing the "School Cup" tournament is to increase the mass character of football among schoolchildren, promote a healthy lifestyle and contribute to the formation of team spirit in children. Within the framework of the project, competitions will be held between schools in all regions of the country, and the winners will test their strength in the national championship.
