Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has named the worst player he ever played with at the club.
Idman.Biz reports that the midfielder was unhappy with the performance of Australian goalkeeper Mark Bosnich.
"When we needed to replace Peter Schmeichel, we had a few candidates. [Massimo] Taibi, Mark Bosnich. I thought Mark was a good goalkeeper when he was at Aston Villa. He came to us and turned out to be very unprofessional. To be honest, it was ridiculous. In shooting practice, they usually take 15-20 shots. After three shots, he would get tired: "Oh no, give it to someone else."
I didn't know he couldn't kick a ball. I had never seen anything like it. In the first game of the season we played away against Everton and he couldn't kick the ball to the halfway line. There was no wind, it was a perfect day. But if you looked at his feet, size 44, to be honest, he was always stomping on the ground. It was a big disappointment," Goal.com quotes Scholes.
