Borussia Dortmund and Germany national team defender Nico Schlotterbeck has stated that he is only ready to leave the club for Real Madrid.

The player's transfer fee is estimated at 40-50 million euros. Real Madrid is actively interested in the defender. Schlotterbeck does not plan to extend his current contract with the German club, which expires in 2027. It was previously reported that Borussia offered the player more than three times his salary - from 2.5 million euros to 8 million euros. Nevertheless, the defender is considering other options to continue his career. Bayern, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in the player.
Schlotterbeck has played 26 matches in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists. Transfermarkt estimates his transfer value at 55 million euros.
