A friendly match between the German club "Schalke 04" and "Bohemians" in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, was marked by a scandal.
Idman.Biz, citing Bild.de, reports that British photographer Carly Clark and her colleague Stephen Lovell-Davis were attacked while filming a march of "Schalke" fans in the city streets. Fans knocked Lovell-Davis to the ground and beat him.
According to Clark, the "Ultras" protested against the filming and there was panic during the incident.
The incident has been handed over to the police. In an official statement, the club called the events "unacceptable" and announced that those responsible would be punished.
In response to "Schalke", Clark noted that this was the behavior of a small number of fans and damaged the club's image.
