The details of the premature termination of the match between "Imishli" and "Shafa", which took place two days ago at the Baku Olympic Stadium's reserve field, have become known.
Idman.Biz, referring to prosport.az, reports that Ibrahim Aliyev, who moved from "Imishli" to "Shafa" due to a breakdown in relations with head coach Jorj Kaskilya, and who caused a technical defeat in the fourth round of the Premier League against "Sumgayit" (the club appealed to CAS because of this) because he played in that match, scored a goal against his former team in his debut match.
Later, tense moments occurred between the players, and rough play was recorded. One of the active participants in the rough game was Emin Zamanov, the defensive midfielder of "Shafa", who played for "Shamakhi" last season. The events escalated the tension between the sides to a peak and went beyond the status of an ordinary friendly match. As a result, the Portuguese head coach of "Imishli" took the team out of the stadium at approximately the 70th minute.
However, "Shafa", the leader of the First League, presented the result of the prematurely ended match with Premier League representative "Imishli" on its page as if they had won (also, the incorrectly colored logo of "Imishli" was used during the sharing).
It should be noted that "Imishli" had previously defeated "Shimal", the outsider of the First League, with a score of 5:0.
