A decision has been made regarding a disciplinary issue at the "Sabail" club, which plays in the Azerbaijan I League.
According to information obtained by Idman.Biz from the club, team captain Yusif Nabiyev has been removed from the squad.
The reason for this is cited as the incident that the 25-year-old football player had with head coach Adil Shukurov during the match against MOIK in the 15th round.
According to reports, although Shukurov decided to substitute the player in the 60th minute of the match, Nabiyev protested and refused to leave the field. It is reported that tensions continued between the parties in the locker room after the match.
A meeting was held within the club today regarding the issue. "Sabail" is expected to issue an official statement regarding the decisions made.
