The 16th round match of the Amateur League held in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul was remembered for an incident. After the match between "IFA" and "Bigaspor", a mass fight broke out among the fans.
İdman.Biz reports that immediately after the final whistle of the match, a verbal argument initially arose between the fans of the two teams. The situation quickly got out of control and the confrontation turned into a physical fight. It was reported that fans threw stones and sticks at each other during the incident.
Police officers intervened in the tension, and after the intervention of the security forces, the parties were removed from the area.
