An unpleasant incident occurred at the training session of the U-19 team of the "Sumgayit" Football Academy. According to information obtained by Sport24.az, a football player brought from Kazakhstan hit one of the local players with the ball during training.
The protesting party reacted, and an incident occurred between the players.
After the incident, coach Hikmat Huseynov dismissed local football player Ismayil Adigozalli from training. Subsequently, he was expelled from the academy.
The emerging picture raises questions: if there were two parties to the incident, why was the punishment applied only to the local football player? The club should not sacrifice its own trainee for the sake of a legionnaire it wants to nationalize. This fact once again shows that in Azerbaijan, visiting football players are given more advantages than locals. But they should not forget that the "swallow" comes and goes, what remains for us is the "gray sparrow".
