The Saudi Arabian government is planning to allow the sale of alcohol during the 2034 World Cup.
İdman.biz reports that this information has been published in the English press.
During the tournament, the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be allowed in designated areas for tourists. It is planned to organize approximately 600 such zones during the championship. However, prohibitions in public places, homes, and shops in Saudi Arabia will remain in effect as before.
It should be noted that the ban on alcohol in the Asian country has been in place since 1952.
