Azerbaijan Cup games are a bit more difficult.
"Report" informs that Saša Ilić, the head coach of "Sumgayit" club, said this at a press conference after the return match against "Zira" in the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup.
He commented on the match they lost:
"First of all, I congratulate Zira. Cup games are a bit more difficult. Especially considering that the first match ended 0:0, everything depended on this game. We played the first half relatively well. We tried to change things with substitutions in the second half. But after the red card, the opponent increased the score even more. Our performance in the Cup is over, we need to focus on the championship now".
It should be noted that the match "Zira" - "Sumgayit" ended with a 2:0 victory (first match - 0:0) of the "eagles".
