"Turan Tovuz" defeated "Sumgayit" 3:0 away in the 7th round of the Misli Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of "Sumgayit", Saša Ilić, shared his thoughts on the game at the press conference held after the match:
"It was a very difficult game. But we didn't expect to lose by this score. I don't think we played very badly, so this result was unexpected for me too. It was a difficult opponent."
The expert, also talking about tactical moves in the team, noted: "I don't think we lost due to tactical mistakes. We conceded goals due to individual mistakes and as a result, we lost. These are the players we have. We are trying to make minimum mistakes. Since the match with "Turan Tovuz" was difficult, certain mistakes were inevitable. I am satisfied with my players. We will work on ourselves and try to be more successful.
Even though we lost the match with "Imishli", I think we played well. I repeat that I am satisfied with my players and I believe that we will try to get the most out of the players we have and reduce mistakes."
