Defender Papi Djilobodji of the "Sarıyer" club, which plays in the Turkish Second League, was subjected to an armed attack in a shopping center in Istanbul.
İdman.Biz reports that a person named Abdullah A. argued with the football player when the Senegalese football player was leaving the building after shopping with his friend.

After the argument escalated, Abdullah A. took out a pistol from his waist and pointed it at Djilobodji. Although the football player and the person with him tried to leave the scene, Abdullah A. threw the umbrella in his hand at the football player and then attacked and pushed him.
People around intervened and separated the parties. The security service, which received information about the incident, called the police. Police officers who arrived at the scene detained Abdullah A.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the person who committed the incident had 3 separate criminal records in the police database. Abdullah A., who was brought to court today on the charge of "armed threat", was released on condition of supervision.

It should be noted that the 36-year-old Senegalese defender has previously played for "Gaziantep", "Kasımpaşa" and "Fatih Karagümrük" clubs.
