"I wish Shafa success. It's my home club. I played in the club's youth teams. As president, I also contributed to the club. Simply put, there was a disagreement between us and the club's management." These words were said by Sardar Salmanzade, the former president of "Shafa," in his statement to Sport24.az.
He commented on his decision to leave the leadership:
"Shafa's leader is my cousin; there is no conflict; we are like brothers. We both rejoice in each other's success. The decision to leave belongs to me. We discussed it, reached a consensus, and said goodbye. Because I have other projects, I thought I would dedicate my time to projects with a larger scale. Negotiations are still ongoing. We are trying to make "Shafa" successful. The disagreement is purely related to development and strategy. Time will tell. Maybe the development program I chose won't live up to expectations. Everyone contributed to Shafa's recent successes."
It should be noted that "Shafa" currently leads the tournament table in the First League with 36 points.
