Clubs playing in the Polish championship have decided to implement the SAOT system, the most modern technology for determining offsides.
Idman.Biz, citing "Meczyki", reports that the technology supplier will be Hawk-Eye, which is used in the Champions League, La Liga, Serie A and world championships.
According to reports, a four-year contract is planned with the company. The new system will start operating in the Polish league from next season. The technology will be integrated with the VAR system and television broadcasts.
As part of the system's installation, 12 additional cameras will be installed in the stadiums. This will allow referees to obtain more angles and accurate information. Clubs believe that the implementation of SAOT technology will speed up decision-making during the game and minimize errors.
It should be noted that the Polish league is currently ranked 12th in the ranking of European championships.
