"The score is not so important in such games." According to Spoet24.az, these words were said by the head coach of "Neftchi" Samir Abasov in an interview with the club's official television.
The specialist shared his views on the test match with "Termalica Nieciecza" in Poland, which ended in a draw (2:2):
"We make a lot of changes in such matches. We play differently in each half. That's the idea. In the first half, we met the opponent in our own field. After the break, we wanted to do something different. I think there was movement in both halves. Although it was a test match, the players did not want to lose. Maybe what I said will be surprising to some. But we were able to get what we wanted from the players. We are going well according to the plan. We must continue like this."
The head coach recalled that some players joined the training camp late: "The players' loss of the ball in matches is an indication that they are physically tired. These are normal things. There should be more. One of the main goals of the training camp is to improve physical condition. When they go to games, they must have the strength to do what the coach says and what they want. The main thing is that we played against a good team."
